Estijabah Foundation Concludes Udhiyah Meat Distribution Project for 1447 AH in Five Yemeni Governorates

Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief has concluded the implementation of the Udhiyah (Sacrificial) Meat Distribution Project for the year 1447 AH. The project was executed during the days of Eid al-Adha across several governorates, including Hadhramaut (Coast and Valley), Marib, Taiz, Aden, and Lahj. A total of 1,626 udhiyahs were distributed, benefiting 6,927 vulnerable families and reaching a total of 48,489 individuals across all targeted governorates.

Marib: Conclusion of a Training Program to Empower 250 Families in Entrepreneurship

The "Entrepreneurship and Income-Generating Project Management" training program concluded today in Marib, targeting 250 trainees from needy and low-income families. The program was implemented by Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief, in cooperation with Solidarités International and funded by the Crisis and Support Centre (CDCS). It is part of the Resilient Agriculture and Integrated Support (RAISE) project, aimed at promoting early recovery for vulnerable families in Marib Governorate. During the closing ceremony, attended by officials from the Planning Office and the Executive Unit in Marib, Mr. Majd Khalifa, Director of Solidarités International, emphasized the organization's commitment to supporting income-generating projects and their role in achieving recovery for families affected by war and economic hardship. For his part, Mr. Mohamed Ali Salim, Director of Estijabah Foundation’s Marib office, praised the prominent role of Solidarités International, describing the partnership as a model of integration between international and local organizations. Over the course of 8 days, the program aimed to equip participants with small business planning and management skills to ensure sustainable economic impact. The ceremony concluded with honoring the training and administrative staff, as well as outstanding trainees, in recognition of their successful completion of the program.

Kuwaiti-funded and implemented by Estijabah Foundation .. Opening of the Late Abdul Rahman Al-Ojan Basic Education School in Sah District, Hadhramaut

Under the auspices of Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, and His Excellency Dr. Adel Abdulmajeed Al-Abadi, and with Kuwaiti funding, the Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Valley and Desert Districts Affairs, Mr. Juma'an Salmeen Barbaa, opened the late Abdul Rahman Adnan Al-Ojan Basic Education School in Sah District, Hadhramaut Governorate, this morning. During the opening ceremony, the Undersecretary expressed his happiness with the opening of this educational edifice, the developmental role of the brothers in Kuwait, both government and people, and the effective support provided through sustainable projects across various sectors, including the educational and academic sector. In turn, the Executive Director of the Estijabah Foundation explained that this project falls within the joint strategic priorities of the Estijabah Foundation and the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Society to provide a safe and stimulating educational environment, serving as an extension of the humanitarian giving of the Al-Ojan family and donors in the State of Kuwait. For his part, the Director of the Education Office in the Valley and Desert of Hadhramaut, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Felloom, confirmed that the school will effectively contribute to alleviating the pressure on existing schools and raising the level of academic achievement for students. Meanwhile, the Director-General of Sah District, Mr. Saeed Yamani Al-Jabari, expressed the gratitude and thanks of the local authority in Sah District, and their appreciation for the efforts made to ensure the project's success. He thanked the Estijabah Foundation for their efforts in execution and completion in record time, stressing that this school will serve as an asset to accommodate the region's students and encourage them to complete their education. Following the opening, Undersecretary Barbaa and the accompanying officials toured the school's facilities. The school consists of 18 classrooms, administrative offices, and restrooms, and is equipped with a solar energy system, an iron shed, an activities hall, a grass football pitch, volleyball and basketball courts, and other educational facilities. The project is part of the humanitarian and relief projects implemented by the Estijabah Foundation in partnership with the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Society, aiming to create a better educational environment for future generations. The ceremony featured artistic performances, poetry recitations, and theatrical sketches. The opening was attended by the Director-General of Security for the Valley and Desert of Hadhramaut, along with a number of officials, dignitaries, and social figures.

Seiyun: Launch of "Agricultural Value Chain Enhancement" Project to Support Smallholder Farmers

Today, Sunday, the Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief launched the "Agricultural Value Chain Enhancement for Smallholder Farmers" project in Seiyun. The launch was held under the generous patronage of Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut, and H.E. Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Socatri, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Abdulhadi Al-Tamimi, Assistant Deputy Governor for Hadhramaut Valley and Desert Districts, a representative of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), and several other officials. During the event, Mr. Al-Tamimi emphasized the importance of the project in bolstering the agricultural sector, commending the effective partnership between the local authority, the Saudi program, and the Estijabah Foundation in implementing sustainable developmental interventions. In turn, Eng. Abdullah Basulaiman, Director of the SDRPY office in Hadhramaut, affirmed that supporting Yemen’s agricultural sector is a strategic priority for the program, aimed at achieving sustainable food security and bolstering the rural economy. Mr. Mohammed Baharitha, Executive Director of the Estijabah Foundation, explained that the project aims to empower smallholder farmers by equipping them with the necessary skills and technologies to enhance agricultural production efficiency in accordance with the latest standards. On the sidelines of the ceremony, a musical troupe performed an operetta titled "Rise, O Farmer" ("Qum Ya Mazar'a"), which showcased elements of Yemen’s rich agricultural heritage and embodied the resilience and determination of Yemeni farmers in cultivating and developing their land

Riyadh | March 3, 2026 The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) signed an agreement today in Riyadh to implement the "Enhancing Agricultural Value Chain for Smallholders" project. The agreement, signed with the Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief, aims to empower farmers across three Yemeni governorates. The signing ceremony featured H.E. Eng. Hassan Al-Attas, Assistant Supervisor General of SDRPY, and Mr. Shawqi Mahfoudh Baazim, Chairman of the Estijabah Foundation. Project Impact and Scope The project targets approximately 2,300 Yemeni families (benefiting over 16,000 individuals) in the governorates of Abyan, Marib, and Hadramout. Key initiatives include: Providing modern agricultural technologies and advanced irrigation systems. Supporting processing and packaging units. Estijabah Foundation concludes Ramadan dates distribution project across 4 Yemeni governorates

Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Works and Relief has concluded its 2026 Ramadan Dates Distribution Project, generously funded by a donor from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project successfully delivered over 24,000 cartons of dates to displaced persons (IDP) camps and impoverished families across the governorates of Hadramout, Marib, Aden, and Taiz. This initiative aims to strengthen food security, embody the values of social solidarity, and alleviate the suffering of vulnerable families in light of the current humanitarian situation and the approach of the holy month.
